Entrant Status Check Instructions

I hope you have saved your entry confirmation number when applying for DV Lottery.
If you did not saved your entry confirmation, you can not check your status. Sorry... please re-apply again and don't forget to save your confirmation number.

DV Lottery will NOT send you any confirmation. You will have to find yourself by checking with your confirmation entry.

Any e-mail sent to you could possibly be a scam or fraud.

The Entrant Status Check for 

• DV-2012 applicants was opened until September 30, 2012. (Expired)
• DV-2013 is available until September 30, 2013.
• DV-2014 entrants will be able to check the status of their entries starting 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST) on May 1, 2013 through Entrant Status Check (ESC) on the E-DV website. 

DV 2013 Program: Entrants from DV 2013 (those who submitted entries during the registration period between October 4, 2011 and November 5, 2011) are requested to check the status of their entry now using their confirmation number through Entrant Status Check (ESC) on the E-DV website, if they have not already. Checking ESC promptly is important for selectees, to provide ample time for next steps in the Diversity Visa application process. ESC continues to be available to entrants through September 30, 2013.

• Last Name/Family Name/Surname
• The Year of Birth

If you are lucky, the website will tell you that you are selected.
Follow the instructions on the website to the next step.
You may have to contact the Immigration Office, the US Embassy or Consulate nearby.
